HELP! dumb question about eb till eulenspiegel excerpt

Hi
So I'm playing the final bit of Till Eulenspiegel on Eb for an audition next week. My question is about the note 10 & 11 measures before rehearsal figure 39. The note is written as a F natural tied to what I think is STILL an F natural quaver in the next measure. But I'm not sure, maybe it's supposed to resolve to an F#? I checked the part and the score which seem to indicate it should remain F natural but when I listen I hear the orchestra resolve to the F# and can't hear for certain what the Eb clarinet does. Can someone help me feel confident in my choice?

Help would be MUCH APRRECIATED!!
🙏🙏🙏

This isn't a "dumb" question. There's nothing "dumb" about wanting to get it right, especially for an audition.

I'm thinking you should stay on F natural. The chord in the oboes & EH does resolve, but the Eb clarinet has dropped out by then. The parts are missing "courtesy" accidentals that would make it all clear. But I could be wrong.

Yes, it remains an f natural.

While I can not help you out with the answer to your question, I would like to mention that there is NO such thing as a dumb question!

If you consider it dumb, then think about the fact that other people in the future might be looking at this thread with the same question in their minds, and your asking it will save them time (and pain) as well.
After considering this, any question that you may ask does not seem so dumb any more.

I am sorry for interjecting this.... but I just had to say this.

Good luck with your audition, and I wish you the best!

Thanks everyone. I guess I just figured it was something I should already know, but I really for the life of me couldn't remember what was correct. I'll stick to the f natural. The score is for d clarinet and that is even clearer in remaining on the same note. I think I was just bothered because I had the overall tune in my head. Now I just have to get the thing in tune.....
