 AGQ: Another Gear Question

The Vandoren Optimum and M/O Ligatures feature, at least as I understand it, have a double screw mechanism where turning the ligature screw moves both ends of the ligature towards or away from each, making for fast/efficient tightening/untightening.

Does the Vandoren Leather ligature have this? Pictures suggest to me that it doesn't--for what this efficient tightening feature may be worth: good, bad, or indifferent.

Newer (post 2010 aprox) does have it.
