 Altissimo E - G# tremolo
Author: Ksimon

Hello:

I write to inquire about available options for fingering a tremolo from altissimo E ascending to G#. [Needed for the opening of Lauds by Ron Nelson.]

Best!

Keep the right pinky always down on the D#/G# key not only because we're working in the altissimo but because it stabilizes the instrument for us.

Play the E with L2 and L3. Lift those keys and put down R1 for the G#, and vice versa.

Hope this helps.

Play the E with the standard fingering:

TR oxx/ooo (Eb)

Tremolo to G# by fingering:

TR ooo (bottom right side key #4) / ooo (Eb)
