Hi Everyone!
I found an edition of the first movement of the Mozart edited by Robert Marcellus but can't seem to find either of the other two movements. Has anyone else run into this edition?

I'm pretty sure it's not in print anymore. I got the first movement years ago from a teacher but nobody seems to have heard of this edition.
If it's not in print is posting it on here legal? Not sure how the copyright laws work.

Gregory Smith would know. I have the highest esteem for him. I worked for 2 of the largest music print publishers in the world at one time, and believe it or not, they ghost write music too. They will pay someone with a big name for the right to say on the music it was arranged by them. Then they hire some hack to arrange it on the cheap. That is why they call it the music business. I am just speaking in general terms here.

As far as the suggestion that Robert Marcellus took a payment for his name, I strongly doubt that. At every Summer Master class he'd tell of Leblanc's constant insistence to get a paid endorsement from him. He'd mention having them wine and dine him, put him up in a nice hotel for a few days, he'd try the horn and then say, "No, I still don't like it."
Who is the publisher of said document?

I did not say or even imply that Robert Marcellus took a payment for his name. I just said that in the music print publishing world I was surprised to see deals cut with some name composer or musician whereby they got money in exchange for putting their name on the cover of a folio saying the arrangements were by them, when in fact someone else who the publisher could hire cheaply would actually do the arrangement. Just a wake up call that ghost writing occurs in the music print publishing business also. I think Marcellus had far more integrity to ever drop to those depths, but I have seen big name musicians cut those kind of deals. I did mention that I spoke in general terms at the end of my post. You must have missed that.

Marcellus indeed had much more integrity than most....especially considering what has gone on nowadays!
But that was also a different time as far as commercial pressure was concerned. The only things that he openly lent his name and reputation to were:
Buffet R-13 clarinets (usually selected by Carl Marks Sr.)
Frank Kaspar mouthpieces - Chicago or Cicero (non-modified)
Morre German 12.5 tip, 2 1/2 strength reeds
Bonade inverted ligatures (adjusted to work as designed)
Moennig barrels (Buffet replicas or custom made from billets by Moennig)
Moennig clarinet repairs/modifications
