I'm not sure what you mean by your question. An Eb mouthpice is made to play the proper pitch with an Eb clarinet. The MP by itself has no true pitch, not really anyway.

I'm puzzled too. A fingered C on an Eb by the nature of the beast sounds at concert Eb. Different mouthpieces could affect pitch (a point to check when testing), but you obviously want one that allows you to play in tune, which in itself is one of the challenges of mastering the Eb.

If you mean what note is produced by an Eb mouthpiece without the rest of the instrument attached, FWIW I've just learnt that my Eb mouthpiece plays an Eb - a rather esoteric bit of information, unless you've discovered an Eb equivalent to Schreiner's Immer Kleiner!

this is for control exercises; I meant the pitch of the MPC/reed only w/o clarinet.

For example Bb clarinet MPC is pitched at C concert,
Alto sax - A
Tenor - G
Baritone - D
Soprano - C

Alto Clarinet-----Ab concert
Bass Clarinet-----F concert
Eb Contrabass---Eb concert
Bb Contrabass---C concert
