2015 Paris Conservatory Pieces

This is the first year I have recorded that the Paris Conservatory used 5 pieces rather than the 4 they've used the past decade or so, 3 in the 1990s, and 1 from about 1984 and prior for the various rounds of the contest.

1) Caprice No. 14 (Theme and Variations) - Cavallini
2) Domaines, Cahiers A, D, F - Boulez
3) Fantaisie et Danse en Forme de Gigue - Semler-Collery
4) Concerto, Op. 36 (Mvt. 2 and 3) - Krommer
5) Caprice No. 15 - Paganini

2, 3, and 4 should be more or less familiar, 1 is from the 30 Caprices published by A. Leduc, and 5 is from the 17 caprices edited by Delecluse, also published by A. Leduc.
