I ran across this wonderful Leister recording while listening to Shostakovich's 11th Symphony conducted by Valery Giergev - go figure.


Also there will be a 2015 broadcast of the Vienna Philharmonic at 2:30pm (live) and 8:00pm ET (re-broadcast) on the 1 January courtesy of PBS.
