 Adult learner Question
Author: Ben Shaffer
Date:   2014-12-11 05:34

Ive been playing the Clarinet now for about a year.
I've been playing keys up to 2 sharps and Flats and to some extent 3 sharps or flats.
My question is really for the Casual Clarinetists.
I don't think I will ever play in any groups, so I don't think that is a concern
Do you feel you have enough Pieces to play with the keys of 2 or are you playing 3 as well?
Its not that I can't learn keys with 3 but it just seems Ive got enough to play with just 2.
I'm also playing 2 other Instruments and need to spread out my time :)

As you continue progressing you will naturally be come more adept at handling added sharps and flats. I would definitely say you will encounter three sharps or flats as an intermediate player, possibly 4.
