 Hunting down an arrangement
Author: sjketterer

Hello all!

I'm auditioning for a solo competition in a few months, and it is required that we play a piece that we not only know has a band arrangement, but that we know where to find said arrangement.

I desperately want to play Messager's Solo de Concours, which I know has a band arrangement done by Steve Reisteter, but my hunt for the parts is coming up empty. The only thing I seem to be able to find is the score.

Would anyone happen to know places that have the score AND parts up for rental?

Thank you so much!
Sarah

There's this

http://musicainfo.net/detail.php?kat=2&artnr=3097063&lg=en

And this

http://www.worldcat.org/title/solo-de-concours-b-clarinet-solo-with-concert-band/oclc/457207661

which might not cost anything, but it's not the exact arrangement you want.

You can borrow it from the Chatfield Music Lending Library:
