Hello all,
After browsing the internet for awhile I stumbled across something interesting. I've learned that in addition to offering a low c bass clarinet (which from what I've heard is quite good) Mr Kessler is also now offering an Eb clarinet for $600 and a fully set up professional wooden clarinet for only $800! Not only that but he also offers a 1 year warranty on his clarinets. Does anyone have any experience with these clarinets?
All opinions are appreciated!

give them a call.
Sorry no 1st hand experience; from what I understand the wooden clarinet bodies are CNC'ed by Backun but the keys come from China (Taiwan?) and they do set up at the shop in US. The plastic/hard rubber come from China and they set them up in US.
Their saxes have good reputation for value and good set up.

This is the first that I have heard of these. Dave Kessler has a great reputation for customer service and I have heard many positive things about his line of saxes. I would be interested in finding out more.

Clarification - our clarinets are not made in conjunction with Backun at all.
We also do not offer an Eb at this point. We had experimented with one years ago but in the end, decided against moving forward with it.
Im not going to go into any marketing here (as that's not what this forum is for). Obviously, if anyone would like to talk more about them, feel free to give me a call.
We are experimenting with MANY things in the clarinet market right now and I have coming to me a sample of an all composite version of this same clarinet as well by month's end. Ed wrote:
