An older relative has given me an amati kraslice ACL 241 and I really can't find any information on it. I do not play the clarinet but would love to be able to sell it to someone who has a passion for playing it . Could someone please tell me a little about it like what type if clarinet it is if it's in good condition and so on.. Please you the pictures as a reference.

That's a basic German system clarinet, so won't be all that easy to sell in the US as the majority of players play Boehm system clarinets.

The current equivalent s an ACL-242 which is largely the same spec as the 241:

The opinions I express are my own.

There are in fact many people in the United States who use German or "albert" System clarinets such as the one you have. If you sell it as an "albert clarinet" you might get more money for it.

Amati is a prolific Czech manufacturer of musical instruments. Their clarinets range from student models to budget priced pro level. Some offer good value for money compared with their equivalents from the big clarinet brands like Buffet, but the quality of finish can be a bit inconsistent. Yours is a student model, but the twist is that it's a German system instrument, which means that some of the keywork is configured differently from the "Boehm" system design that rules the roost in most other countries. That being the case it might appeal to someone curious to take a German instrument for a spin without having to pay a lot for the privilege.

(German model, student grade, 17 keys, 4 rings, silver plated, corpus grenadilla, bell plastic, 457,50 Eur ex VAT, and,as I suppose, a = 442)
