Hello,
I have been searching for a used Buffet E11 for our 12 year old son. I had met with someone yesterday who had advertised one that had recently been serviced and they had the receipt for the service. The issue is that the only markings that I could find on the clarinet was the serial number on the 2 pieces (which matched). Every photo that I have seen of an E11 had the Buffet logo at the top and bottom of the clarinet and often had the germany stamped on it as well. There was no trace of any markings on this clarinet other than the serial numbers and both I and the owner looked very closely. It was also supposed to be only a few years old so any markings should not have worn off that quickly. The owner just emailed me the receipt for the servicing and it is listed as an E11 model. Did Buffet make a clarinet with no markings or did the shop doing the service not know what they were doing? This is a rather large chain band supply store.
Thanks
