Vandoren 56 Serial Numbers

Has anyone noticed a difference in the Vandoren 56 Rue Lepic reeds since they began printing the backs with the serial numbers? I feel the reeds are more vibrant and perhaps a bit easier to blow since the change.

Even after I got a box recently with the old print, they seem to feel different. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and their thoughts.

I don't really notice a quality difference per se, but I DO NOT like the egraved print. I wish Vandoren would leave this surface perfectly smooth. Again, it hasn't negatively affected those I've played......yet, but I don't see any reason for this change.

CHANGE IT BACK !!!!!
