Hello,
Searching for some information from someone with more repertoire knowledge than I have.
I am wondering where the Voxman transcription for Mozart's 'Adagio and Menuetto' come from. I teach clarinet, and though I haven't used this solo from the Rubank Clarinet Solos (Int.) book for anyone, the question came up recently with other teachers. I have already checked these archives (perhaps not with correct search terms) and all over the internet, but to no avail. After several hours looking decided to ask if any of you more experienced folks out there might know.
No 'K' number is listed in the book.
A mystery!
Thanks in advance for any info!

Hi,
I'm not sure where Mr. Voxman grabbed the Adagio. The Menuetto, however, is from Divertimento No. 3 from the K. 439b set, which was originally for 3 basset horns.
Cheers,
Justin

Lorell,
Looks like the Adagio is from Divertimento No. 5, from the same set (K. 439b).
Take care,
Justin
