Luyben Music

Does anyone know if Luyben is on vacation or has closed? I'm not getting answers to my phone calls. (Just sent an e-mail.)

BTW, when you need something in a hurry that other outfits don't carry or don't have in stock--especially out-of-print publications--check with Luyben!

Also--and I may be wrong--they don't seem to up their prices for in-stock stuff to whatever price is current for new pubs.

If they have stock they bought at an old price, they'll sell it at the old price. BUT on new inventory, they're online prices are often not reflective of they're actual prices, which they will give upon inquiry.

I stopped at the shop in May and it was alive and well - bought a lot of music. Best to give them a call during the week, not on a holiday week/end. Annette has been visiting shows, symposiums, and such quite a bit - that's what the salesman said anyway. She was gone when I visited.
