 Buffet Identification?

Does anyone know what Buffet model this is? A friend of mine gave it to my wife after he found out she plays Clarinet. It was his wife's father's, who got it sometime in the 1930's. My friend's wife played it through college in the late 60's.

There is no serial number where there should be, and after looking there isn't any sanding areas where there would be one.

However there is a "L" on the bottom of one of the pieces, if that means anything.
