Earlier today I received my ATG reed finishing system. After watching the videos I tried the ATG system on two lower level reeds for practice. I am so impressed with the system. Not only is it incredibly easy to use, but it works extremely well. In less than five minutes the first two reeds I worked on felt and sounded great. They now play better than any top level name brand reed I have played out of the box. Keep in mind these were not pro level reeds. I wish I would have had the ATG system long ago, but I'm so happy I have it now.
I am in no way affiliated with RCP, but I am once again a very happy costumer.

My experience exactly when first getting it. Years later, now, I still use it. Simple ideas and technology and easy to teach reed care to my students.

John- I'm curious: when you teach reed care to your students, what do you have them use instead of the ATG tool? Or do you get them to order the kit for themselves?
I find the tool very handy. It would probably be easy to reproduce one for yourself, but I'm still using the same one I got several years ago.

Liqorice - "It would probably be easy to reproduce one for yourself" Yep, a small block of wood, some art foam, and wet/dry sandpaper with two sided tape!...not quite as good as the original, but usable. Buying the kit with the video and information is best, though.
