I wouldn't worry about this too much; the diff btw Reserve and M30D in pic isn't more then a couple tenth. There is more variation in barrel tenon socket depth then that. You'll be alright as long as cork seals well and MPC isn't wobbly.
BTW many Selmer MPCs have longer tenon and tend to have a gap on outside. IMHO it is better to have a gap outside then in the bore. I have installed tuning rings in MPC socket to get rid of bore gap, and it improved overall tuning, YMMV
