What are those who are using this mouthpiece on Boehm System clarinets doing, if anything, to deal with the fact that the tenon on the mouthpiece is slightly longer (German) than what a standard Boehm System barrel will take?
Is it true that Wurlitzer makes a barrel to allow the M30D to interface with a standard Boehm clarinet? (As opposed to Reform-Böhm clarinet whose attributes I don't know. I sent them an email.)
FWIW, I put a rubber ring on the mouthpiece's tenon, closest to the mouthpiece, to accomodate this extra space, and use my Boehm barrels with it, without losing A440 pitch. But maybe this is not a good practice.
