I'm guessing the B12's were better- just sayin.

I've never seen or played one, but somebody here said they don't look quite so neat once you start playing and steam them up.

If it has synthetic pads, you can just toss it in the dishwasher!

Here's a picture of Willy Mönnig from the forum of Markneukichen museum. They also show a Mönnig A-clarinet made from „Plexiglas“ (acryl glass).

1990 they were made as Buffet's Anniversary if I recall.


You typically can't find them anywhere, as those who have em keep them, or they go at Auction for $$$$$.


I have one - great to show the fog that instantly occurs in the bore when first playing.
