Do any of you have suggestions about music stores I could call that might carry a used Eb clarinet that isn't a Bundy? I've done an exhaustive, unproductive web search so am hoping "word of mouth" might be helpful. Thank you!

I'd presume the big outfits would be a good place to start: Weiner, Muncy, WWBW. If you don't know their contact info, a quick web search will get you it.

Roxann,
I hate to give plugs to products which I have no personal experience with but these guys http://martinfreres.net/ have 2 Eb clarinet models for sale. Double check it if it can be returned and it is covered by 30-day return policy.
I have bought their barrel in the past and I'd rather liked it.
And there is always fleeBay.

I know a place with a Yamaha E flat for sale (plastic, new "old stock") at a pretty good price (will show on the website as NZ$, at the mo the NZ$ is .86 of a US$). Look for Music Works, New Zealand. I can play test the instrument if you like as I ride past the shop at least 3 times a week...
