HOWDY, I HAVE HERE MY PLATEAU CLARINET,STAMPED CONSOLE,FRANCE.S-N 2017.THE LOGO APPEARS TO BE A CROWN STUDDED WITH JEWELS,WITHIN AN OBLONG SHAPE. DOES ANYBODY RECOGNISE THIS LOGO.I'VE ELIMINATED ABOUT 20 FRENCH STENCILS ON PHIL'S WEBSITE.I BOUGHT THIS INSTRUMENT IN ENGLAND 50 YEARS AGO. IT SEEMS LOGICAL TO ASSUME IT ORIGINALLY CAME FROM THE SELMER LONDON BRANCH SET UPIN THE 1920'S-30'S. IT IS NOT STAMPED SELMER.DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A BOOK,WEBSITE WITH MANUFACTURES/ DISTRIBUTERS LOGOS[MARKS] THANKS,KEITH.

Hi Keith, disengage your Caps Lock!
I can't find Don Mackrill's pages that have scans of the old catalogues of Selmer London Console, Sterling and Gold Seal instruments, otherwise I'd post a link to that. It's a good resource if only it was accessible.
It's most likely a Malerne stencil as they also made plateau clarinets under various names. An elderly doctor who used to play tenor in the big band I started with back in the '80s had a Buisson plateau clarinet which is probably the same thing as your Console.
