I received two boxes of reeds from the owner of Gonzales reeds a couple of months ago and have been breaking them in and playing them. I'd like to provide feedback at this time, but have lost the email address for the gentleman. I know he is a member of BBoards. Hopefully, he'll see this post and provide me with his address. Thanks:)

I also received some of those reeds and love them. They are my main reeds now. Very happy with them.

I've always wanted to try them. Can you tell me what it is specifically that you like about them?

I'm finding the GD reeds gives me a more uniform tone color throughout the range than some others (Rue 56, V12, Gonzalez FOF, Xilema), and especially reliable up to C7. Slightly harder too, at least initially. Preliminary evaluation. Worth a try.

Are we talking about the "GD cut" or the "classic hand select"?
Thanks!
