I like my H2 very much. Instant storage, so that you can save a movement and very quickly have the machine back to work recording your next offering.
BUT, I no longer routinely record my practice sessions. It is just too time consuming. You've got to play it, then listen to it, and then make corrections.
You probably didn't mess up the whole thing; and I think that I can recognize where I should stop and re-work a phrase.
When it comes to polishing for a performance, the H2 really goes to work, and a lot of time is spent with earphones and a sharp pencil.

I. Like the Zoom H2, also, but lately I've switched to my iPad or iPhone with a Blue Mikey. Extraordinarily easy and high quality recordings.

I am using a zoom Q3HD, which is not on the list. It is great and useful when you taking video for audition. But it don't have much function for audio edit.
