Hi there,
I have a tunning problem regarding a selmer cl 200 soprano clarinet i bougth on ebay a few month ago. The thing is that even with the barrel as close as it can to the upper joint my pitch is a llitle low. The barrel is (or i think it is at least because it doesnt have the selmer logo in it) the original one and its length is 63.5 mm. I was think in purchaising another one (probably a bakun but i m open to suggestion if anyone has a better option) but im not quite sure about the length i should get. Does anyone knows which one should i buy?
Thanks

If you're trying to tune to A=440hz and you're flat with a 63.5 mm barrel, it's quite possibly you. Going to a shorter barrel will make the throat tunes grossly sharp.

This could be a mouthpiece issue. Have you tried playing with other mouthpieces?
