Hi, i am new here. I got a new fobes cwf mouthpiece recently and like it very much. It seems almost non resistance, very free blowing. I am using rico reserve classic #4 right now, but still feel a little bit soft. I have email Mr. Fobes and he recommend me to try V12 #4. I checked the reed compare chart from rico website and it seems like they have same strength. Does anyone who use the same mouthpiece can share some experience about reed choosing?

I believe I used both of those on it with great results. Clark's mouthpieces have less resistance than some. I find that with that kind of feel it is key to relax and not try to muscle the mouthpiece. For me it helps in achieving a range of color and expression.
If the Reserve classic 4 are too soft, I would try the 4+

Whatever Rico says, #4 Reserve Classics are, at least to me, a little softer than #4 V12s. You can try clipping the Reserves slightly shorter to see if that helps. I have a CWF and it *is* very free-blowing. You might try Reserve Classic #4+ or maybe Vandoren 56 Rue lepic #4 in addition to the #4 V12s. It will take some experimenting to find your most comfortable fit.

I use a Vandoren V-12 3.5+ with my Fobes San Francisco and I love the color, tone and ability to express that it gives me.

The Clark Fobes mouthpieces are very free-blowing. I would just get used to the idea and try to benefit from this fact. Hard reeds make you lose your flexibility and limit your tone colours. Clark distributes Austrian reeds, which I have not tried yet. If he has chosen to distribute them, he must think highly of them and they must suit his mouthpieces.

I play Vandoren V12 3.5+ on the CWF. It works well for me.

You play the reed strength that works. If it plays good, it IS good.
No two people have the same embouchure, lip thickness, teeth angles, tongue shape, soft palate, way of blowing or ideal sound. Only you can decide what to use, after trying various brands and strengths of reeds.
The best we can do here is give you vague guesses. Now it's time to go into the practice room and figure it out.
