 Thumb Rest Idetnity

Hi,
So my instructor showed me a thumb rest today, it was sqaure-ish and very thick, and when I popped it on mine, I liked it a lot better than my old one. But she couldn't tell me the brand because she didn't remember. I lost my old one and have a bunch of concerts coming up, one's in 5 days and I need something. Maybe it was a B&G? I'll post a link.

The first item is the Thum-Eez sold by Woodwind & Brasswind http://www.wwbw.com/Thum-Eez-Clarinet-Thumb-Rest-Cushion-460901-i1142711.wwbw. It has a rather home-made look.

The second and third items are made by BG France, which makes many accessories http://shop.weinermusic.com/BG-FRANCE-CLARINET_-OBOE-LARGE-THUMBREST-CUSHION-A23/productinfo/XBG1OL/.

I've tried the BG but have found that it's too thick for my thumb and hand shape. Most people need the holding point higher, not lower. My right thumb and hand started hurting after about an hour using the BG.

Many years ago, I went to a Medical Equipment/Surgical Supplies store and got several feet of silicone (not rubber) surgical tubing, which fits perfectly over my thumb rest, is very comfortable and lasts forever. I still have about 6" of the tubing left. It seems identical to the Runyon Thumb Aid http://shop.weinermusic.com/RUNYON-CLARINET-THUMB-AID/productinfo/XK1TA/.

Perhaps it was the Ridenour Saddle:

I use the thumbrest by Protec. It looks a lot like the pic. of the BG one you posted.
