 Rhapsody in Blue
Author: ClarinetRebecca

Hello all,
Does anyone know where I can find the legit, real Rhapsody in Blue sheet music? I cannot find it anywhere, and if I do, they're arrangements. I would prefer a clarinet solo, but a clarinet and piano duet will suffice.
Thank you!

It's not going to happen sadly as its hire only parts. Boosey and Hawkes if memory serves.

There's the two piano arrangement at IMSLP: http://imslp.org/wiki/Rhapsody_in_Blue_(Gershwin,_George)

And the orchestral scores and parts in the NY Phil digital archives:

Former oboe finisher
Howarth of London
1998 - 2010

The opinions I express are my own.

Here's a clarinet and piano arrangement - I bought one about 3 years ago, and they apparently still have it. It is in a booklet form with a pullout for clarinet only. To be true to the original, you may need to adjust the notes in measures 10 and 11.

Good luck - I still do not have it nearly mastered...

...and you will need to play the first note down an octave.

FWIW, this arrangement is probably illegal in the US.

Hi Rebecca:
I've had the part for years.
Send me your email & I'll send the 6 page First Clarinet part.
Cheers
