 Have you ever heard of.....
Author: Yoshiaki (Yoshi) Onishi

Dear clarinetists,

Have you ever heard of the read manufacturer or company named "Fogrietta (or the spelling might be wrong)?" I had been using the reeds called so until the year of 1996. And suddenly I was told by the local music store in Japan that the manufacturer had been closed. Since then, I haven't seen the Fogrietta reeds... I really miss them because they were good!!! I don't know what happened to them.. But if anybody knows about this matter, please share it!

By the way, I think I should submit articles to the webmaster of this page again....

Sincerely,

Yoshi O.

they may have been made by the owner of the store and not a major manufacturer

If so, perhaps the reed making equipment is not elaborate, and they would be willing to sell it to you?

Did you think of Foglietta, made in Switzerland by Marianne Rieckhoff (I'm not sure about the spelling of the last name)?
I'll search for the address or telephone number.

Dear Yoshiaki Onishi,

FOGLIETTA clarinet reeds are still available.
The firm moved from Swizzerland to Germany
and Mrs. Rieckhoff passed on the leadership
to me.
We still make the same schedules of reeds that you
know...

for more information please visit
www.foglietta.de

with cordial greetings
Peter Przybylla
