Does anybody know what Colin Davis was like as a clarinetist? Are there any recordings? In interviews, he would never dwell on his clarinet-playing days.

Sur Colin was entrusted with the premier of Malcolm Arnold's Sonatina at the Wigmore Hall. By all accounts he was a good player.
