Once again I'm putting together a program of clarinet ensembles, and I need a solo piece for our guest artist that uses some combination of clarinets as accompaniment, even a full clarinet choir, if necessary.
Does anyone know of anything, originals or arrangements of other pieces, that's published for this combination?
Of course, I can arrange something, but would rather not have to try to do that if I can find something good off the shelf.
Thanks.
B.

I don't have publisher info. handy, but there are several arrangements for solo clarinet with clarinet ensemble/coir accompaniment.
-Mozart Concerto
-Weber Concertino
-Crussell F minor Concerto
-Tartini/Jacob Concertino
-Ponchelli Il Convengo
I'm sure more exist, but I can immediately recall these off the top of my head; hope it's of some help.

I played the Tchaikovsky violin concerto with the University of Illinois clarinet choir back in the 70's - quite fun! I'm not sure if it's available, but if it is, it's probably here:

If not, there must be some other nice things there.

For a fun encore piece, the Guisganderie by Jean Jean apparently has a clarinet quartet accompaniment. It is two minutes of pure fun. Here is Youtube recording with saxophone accompaniment (I'm sure clarinet accompaniment would be similar.)

The Band Music Guide has an entire list for this and other combinations. It is out of print, I believe, but old editions are quite useful and can be found on abebooks, etc.
