 Backun Protege clarinet

Hi fellow clarinetters, im new here and was wondering if any one has tried the Backun Protege clarinets. also can anyone tell me about the leblanc symphonie by backun, other than they are out of production.

You might want to talk with Dave Kessler at Kessler & Sons Music, www.kesslermusic.com. He's very good. Their number is 1-888-830-0474.
I think the Protege was just released this month.

I have tried the Protege instrument and talked with Morrie about it. I have to say its a great instrument. Really even in tone and response. You would never guess that this is an entry level professional instrument. You should contact Backun and see if you can try one at your local music shop.
