The three Beethoven duos for clarinet and bassoon work fine with clarinet and cello http://imslp.org/wiki/3_Duets_for_Clarinet_and_Bassoon,_WoO_27_%28Beethoven,_Ludwig_van%29.

The Sonata for Clarinet and Cello by Phyllis Tate is excellent. Very satisfying piece to play.

Steamboat Bill Jr., by Magnus Lindberg is very cool:) It's based on a silent film from 1928 with the same name. I think you can find both the film and a live performance of Lindberg's piece on youtube.

The Cello can play the Bassoon part for the Beethoven Duo. I coached that duo this past Summer at the Phila Orch Festival.
