 Revisiting the Yamaha YCL- 62

Having purchased a very nice YCL-62 Yammy recently for Dixie gigs, I find it more than acceptable; great intonation, nice full sound etc. Silver plated keys too! Quality sound imho well under $ 1K. What's not to like? Your thoughts?

I found mine through a local trade on Craigslist, and REALLY like it. The tech that set it up thought it is a fine instrument, and was well worth putting a few dollars into. Am currently using a B45 mouthpiece, and having a blast with this horn.

It was sure a great step up from my plastic Selmer CL300. I don't regret this purchase/trade, and it's got some mojo that a new model won't have for years to come...

This is a genuine signature.
