I'm seriously considering buying the Leblanc LB210 Bliss B flat Clarinet. From what I've read, I want to get the MoBa barrel rather than the one it comes with. What about the mouthpiece? Does anybody know if the mouthpiece that it comes with is acceptable or do you think I'd need to buy a different one? Thanks for your help!

If I had to choose one to replace blindly, I'd replace the stock mouthpiece before the stock barrel on any clarinet.

Agreed on replacing the mouthpiece.

The closer the equipment is to your mouth, the more of a difference it makes!

Roxann, what kind of mouthpiece are you using with your current clarinet?

It's a Fobes Debut. I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I bought it. Luckily, it fits my clarinet. I suppose it's an ok mouthpiece.

Before you buy a mouthpiece try the one that came with the clarinet, who knows, it may feel and sound just fine. If not, than try out as many types as you can to find the best fit for you. ESP eddiesclarinet.com

Does botox help getting a fuller tone? :)

Wow, a playable mouthpiece with a new clarinet? Who knew such a thing occurred...

A Fobes Debut is a fine mouthpiece for beginning students, in their first 2-4 years.
