Does anyone know any alternate fingerings to get from to and vice versa? The only way I can think of is by voicing, and that's a royal pain (i mean yes we have to voice everything but you get the idea). Anybody got any solutions or suggestions? Thank you!

If you play the E6 without the Eb and then add the F#/C# key for the A, it'll pop out much easier than with just voicing. Back down I would recommend going from this A fingering, down to the side E figering

Use the C#key to pop up to A, and "long" E to pop back down would be my best guesses from my limited knowledge. Might be able to use long E if you're going up, and voice the "A". The extra fingering of the long E might keep it down making it easier to pop up to A.

I have been trying to pop the A with the C# before, but it's getting back down to the E that's a major issue. The rhythm is if you are in 4/4 time: 16th 16th 8th, 16th 16th 8th, repeated over and over. Tempo is about 120. This isn't the correct rhythm but I'm just explaining here so it's easier for you to understand. By long E, are you referring to the TR A xxxG# xooEb?

Play the E6 without the Eb key.
Play the A6 with the right hand F#/C# key and right hand 1st finger side Eb/D# key.
This might help the slurs back and forth.

Another alternative is to play the E normally with the right hand Eb key then substitute the left-hand C# key for the right-hand Eb key to jump to A. With good air support and a balanced reed the notes should go back and forth pretty easily. (As I recall, this is actually part of one of the tests Tom Ridenour suggests to check for a balanced reed.)
Best regards,

The only long E I know (the one I was referring to) was TR Ab xxx|oooEb (Clarion G with the throat Ab key tapped open by the side of the index finger).

A while ago I had a part that was in the same range A-E-A-A-E-A-E-E repeating twice, all 16th notes, around 120BPM. I don't remember how I played it...

I have several fingerings on by website. If you're playing the high E with the "normal" fingering, just pick up the second finger in the LH and the A will pop out easily. There's another way on my fingering chart but that works like a charm in the Prok. Quintet last mov't and the Walton Facade where you have to go from the E to the A at PP. ESP eddiesclarinet.com
