 Hi,

I'm a young clarinet player who is always tweaking with my equipment as I am very sensitive with things feel. I play a 3.5+ v12 reed and it's always hard for me to find a consistent reed that feels just right. So, I was looking at legere signatures and was wondering what size legere signature reed would be best for me. I find that V12 size 3.5 reeds are almost always too soft, while 3.5+ reeds are usually right, although occasionally hard.

I play a buffet tosca, m13lyre mouthpiece, and a rovner eddie daniels ligature or a bonade inverted silver plated ligature with the middle cut out...if that helps at all.

 Thanks,

 George Park

 check the website below:

Looks like it should be 3.5 or 3.75. I would go with 3.75 since they get a bit soft after the initial playing.

Although I have not played a 3.5+ V12 yet (I do have an unopened box though...), I feel that the 3.5 V12 are about a 3.5 Signature. And I have a 3.75 Signature that feels about what I think is a 3.5+ V12 would be since it is a little harder than the 3.5.
So I would say get the 3.75.

Get one of each and test them both. Then when you decide which you like better, send the other in for a free exchange to Legere. And then you'll know which one to order in the future.
