 Where To Buy March Books?
Author: Johnny Galaga

Looking all over the internet and can't find nuthin! Where can you get 1st and 2nd clarinet part march books for Henry Fillmore, Karl King, John Philip Sousa, etc.? Just the clarinet part only, 1st & 2nd. I just wanna work on marches for a while. I'm talkin 'bout those little books that had like 20 marches in 'em? Remember those from High school?? Does anyone sell 'em individually?

Thanx!

I know the books you are talking about and I don't know where to find them though you could try calling Eble Music or Schattinger's in St. Louis or Volkwein in Pittsburgh. If anyone would have the books, they likely would. If you are willing to spend a little time isolating and printing parts from free pdf files of full sets, you can find a lot of marches here:

The collection "Sousa's Favorite Marches" (16 tunes) is available from JW Pepper for around $5 per booklet.
