V12 changes?

I've recently purchased several boxes of Vandoren V12's and noticed that the prints on the back of the reeds have changed. The color of the words is now brownish and it now explicitly says "V12".

Does anyone know if anything else has changed?

Have they not just changed it to make it more difficult to make fake reeds ?

I believe they now use some kind of laser to mark the reeds.

Thank goodness they started putting V12 on there. When I mixed up my blue box and v12 reeds it was a PAIN having to check their thicknesses to separate them again.

I've been playing with the V12's for a while now and they seem to be the same. It definitely helps that they now have V12 on the back. It reduces confusion between that and the blue box!
