I just registered today, but I wanted to take time to thank everyone on this board for all the discussion and advice. I have read this board for almost a year while I searched for information on clarinets/mouthpieces/advice for my middle school son. Without any background in music, I was like a deer in the headlights his first year playing clarinet. The terms were unfamiliar and I didn't know what I didn't know.
Reading the boards has helped me learn so much. I wanted to say thank you to everyone to took the time to post to others and answer questions. Your replies were like clarinet school for me and I think that they have helped me support the budding musician in my house better. I sincerely appreciate all I have learned from your posts.

No thanks needed; that's what all are here for. I was very fortunate to work with some very gifted (and more importantly generous, with regards to their time) musicians during my most formative years. Passing their generosity on and keeping the "brotherhood" alive, so to speak, is something of vital importance for me.
So, you're welcome with one caveat: the thank you wasn't even necessary to begin with!
