Metronome Plus: The best metronome app avaliable

I recently had the pleasure of downloading and using the Metronome Plus app from the iTunes store. It really stands out against its competition. Read the full review here. (and just to clarify, I am not in any way affiliated with the iTunes store)

I'm fond of the Online Metronome http://www.theviolinsite.com/online_metronome.html, which is free and has an amazing variety of clicks, some of them ROFL funny.

Joe LeBlanc of the Marine Band designed it - bought.

Now that I have looked and tried it - yup, it's really, really good!! Much more user friendly than the others I've seen, and many, many subdivisions.

99 cents is a low price, it's worth a lot more!!

I also use tempo. I wouldn't switch apps for anything! Tempo is my metronome.

I have used Tempo before. It is a really great app. I just find the appearance of the Metronome Plus much more simple and appealing. Also, Joe is planning to expand the features to include things like tap for tempo input. I know Tempo currently has more features, but all the flashing lights and colors and beeps can be frightening to some people haha.

Mr. Shaw, I can't seem to get that metronome to work in any of my browsers? I might be doing something wrong.

As for online metronomes, I prefer http://www.metronomeonline.com/ .

I just checked it out, and it works fine in Firefox 3.6.17. I played it online rather than downloading it.

O great. As if it isn't already hard enough to get people to turn off their smartphones during rehearsal! Now they can claim to have a legitimate reason to be futzing with the stupid things.

I bought this and tried it out. It is easier to control the tempo with the scroll wheel on this metronome, and louder than the other iPhone metronomes - good, well thought out product.
