Hi, I'm currently interested in contemporary clarinet pieces, and I was hoping people here could give some suggestions. While I love classical music, I'd like to hear/play something new and modern. Like the Black Dog clarinet concerto (if you haven't heard it, you should definitely look that up on Youtube) and Viktor's Tale, the clarinet solo from the movie The Terminal.
Thanks a lot!

Berg's Four Pieces for Clarinet and piano might be up your alley, uses flutter tonguing in one part.
I've also composed some pieces that are contemporary in style, but don't use extended techniques. One that does is based on the concert A whole tone scale, which those I've sent it to and have tried it really enjoy it.
