 Hi,
As a complete beginner, can anyone tell me about a ROMILY SONATA CLARINET, BY RUDALL CARTE?

Are they made of wood, or plastic? Are they any good?

Are they BOEHM system, or SIMPLE system?

Replies gratefully received.
Bazza.

The plastic ones have a matt finish and were the same instrument as the B&H Regent. The wooden ones were the same as an Edgware.

I forget which one's which - there was the Romilly Graduate and the Sonata - I've got a feeling the Graduate is the plastic one and the Sonata is wooden.

All are Boehm system with 17 keys, 6 rings - B&H rarely made any other system since they stopped making Albert/simple and Clinton systems in the early to mid 1900s.
