HI,
I have recently gotten a clarinet and I would like to find some more information about it. I have searched high and low on the interenet to no avail. I have a: Pierre Lebeau Made in Paris France. It is wood. From the research I have done I believe it to be pre-1950's. But I'm not sure. Any information would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have one as well that says Pierre Lebeau Paris. What do you know about these clarinets? I can't find any information anywhere. Do you think it is a good clarinet? Can anyone give me some information?

No trace of any maker named Pierre Lebeau in Paris at any time. Almost certainly a stencil name. If you can post a picture probably someone here can identify it

You might try Googling or looking on one of those genealogy sites for the name of a person you could connect with a music store. Very often those stencilled store brands are named for the store owner, an employee of the store, a relative of the store owner or a locally well-known musician.
