Unfortunately, on my computer, I'm getting an echo. Very frustrating.

Well, he's doing a lot of meandering about his experiences. Personally, I'd rather hear him play than hear his antecdotes.

I've got a lesson to teach and other things going on today. I don't have the patience to hear Bliss' stories. In thirty minutes, he has played "Flight of the Bumblebee" and that's it. Personally, the webcast has turned out to be a disappointment. (Leblanc is sponsoring his appearance.)

Wonderful insight into what a performer's life is like !!!! Day long lessons with Sabine Meyer (with cooking lessons thrown in), learning circular breathing through the didgeradoo, soldiering through a solo with orchestra only to find getting off the stage that his reed had literally broken in two halves.......you can't top that!!!!

He DOES, we just listen.

Also, he spoke of tonguing and he is also one who single tongues everything because he feels that he hears too much of the difference between the "tees" and the "kees." The unspoken side of that is that his tongue is AMAZINGLY fast. Not all of us can move our tongues for single tonguing even at half that (sounded like sixteenth notes at 155 or so).

I loved every moment of this......thanks for the heads up.

He seems like a really nice down to earth guy. Doesn't seem like all of that fame at such an early age went to his head. His technique is so fluid and his single tonguing is absolutely amazing. Very enjoyable with some neet tidbits passed on along the way.

I like him. I'm a sucker for long stories and I found the webcast to be very informative and entertaining.
I agree with TomD - I didn't one bit expect him to be so "real" - I've had too many experiences with snobby "celebrities". Breath of fresh air.
