Got my TK etude2 today put it on and realized that it wont fit in the case with it. so for those who have them already do you slide it off everytime or did you modify the case to accomodate it? not sure if sliding it off everytime will damage it, the instructions or the website doesnt mention anything as far as proper storage. the only little problem I encountered installing it was that it only had holes for side by side screw mounting, my clarinet came with an adjustable t-rest with top and bottom so had to modify the plate a tad.

Yes, you slide it off every time.
