Yamaha 4C Student Bass Cl Mouthpiece

Can anyone tell me about the Yamaha 4C mouthpiece for Bass? I usually recommend a Hite or Selmer C* to students and band directors. But I have a band director asking about the Yamaha. I know nothing about it. Is it any good? How does it compare to the Hite and Selmer?

Good blank for refacing (decent material), but the baffle is too shallow and the factory facing stinks. Unless you have the Yamaha refaced, the Hite and Selmer would be better choices. But you should also consider Fobes Debut, Walter Grabner, and Roger Garrett mouthpieces.
