I want to wish you all a Happy New Year. May all your reeds be good ones, may all you notes play in tune and may your tone always be beautiful. Have a happy and healthy new year everyone. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com

Thanks, Ed...
... but I wish you'd wished me some solid rhythm, too.

Best to all from this very helpful resource, and thank you.

May the ensemble's pitch rise to meet you.
May the trumpets, trombones and percussion be never at your back.
May the pit be warm but your stand light never shine upon your face.
May your mouthpiece cap fall soft against the floor.
And when you play again,
May the conductor communicate perfectly with the hollow of his hand.

Happy New Year,
jnk

Thanks other random internet people. I'd like to add my faceless "Happy New Years" as well!

BTW, is there a "new years resolutions" thread yet? I've got about three clarinet ones to put on there once it's started if it isn't yet.

You can always start one, that way you can take the heat... [grin]

Happy New Year! I hope you're all reading the bulletin board in comfort, with clarinets safely at hand, and not stuck in an airport or a subway.
