I've seen that particular plastic mouthpiece referred to as a "doorstop" on this BB.
As a mouthpiece refacer I have nothing against plastic mouthpieces, as they can in fact be made to play quite well, but many of them have molding flash and/or other internal flaws that need to be massaged, and the extra work involved is usually not worth the effort. As I recall the Buffet plastic mouthpieces are not very nicely molded inside.
