Alexander reeds

I'm thinking of ordering some. Does anyone play on these or have tried them? I'm a college player with an R-13 and a Vandoren M15 mouthpiece if that makes a difference

I have no idea of the validity of the claims of how the physical characteristics of various reeds effect the sound production - but I am a real sucker for a scientific approach....

Have a look at the 4 profiles. Have a view of how you would like your sound to change, and see if any of the other profiles helps you achieve your vision.

I use Alexander Superials on my RM15 - but unfortunately that will give you no clues as to how they might be for you on your setup. I do find them consistent, and after a quick tweak with ATG finishing system it is very rarely I throw one out without good use
